Wafi Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: 10 October 2026
Wafi is operated by CDN Technologies. You may request deletion of your Wafi account data or information received through connected Meta and WhatsApp business accounts.
Submit a deletion request
Email technologiescdn@gmail.com with the subject “Wafi Data Deletion Request”
Include:
- Your registered Wafi email address.
- Your business or workspace name.
- Your connected WhatsApp number or account identifier, if relevant.
- Whether you want specific information deleted or your entire account closed.
Do not send passwords, OTPs, access tokens or payment card details.
Verification and timeline
We may request additional information to verify your identity and authority.
Our normal response target is 2 working days. Deletion from active systems is normally completed within 7 working days after verification, subject to any legally required shorter period.
Depending on your request, deletion may cover account information, uploaded contacts, stored messages, attachments, campaign data and information received through Meta integrations. Account closure or removal of necessary permissions may stop related services.
Retention and backups
We may retain limited information required to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. We will explain applicable exceptions and restrict retained information to those purposes.
Backup copies expire under our backup schedule and are not used for ordinary service operations while awaiting expiry. The 7-working-day deletion target applies to active systems.
Deleting data from Wafi does not automatically delete copies held independently by your business, message recipients, Meta, WhatsApp or other providers.
Requests from message recipients
If a business using Wafi contacted you, request deletion or withdraw messaging permission directly with that business. You may also contact us with the sending number so we can assist or refer your request.
Marketing opt-out, integration disconnection and data deletion are separate actions. Disconnecting an integration does not automatically delete previously stored information.
